Our God is an AWESOME God

My kids have been singing this song... They learned it at Vacation Bible School. HE IS AWESOME!

Just an update on where we are RIGHT NOW in our adoption process....
We signed our contracts today for All God's Children and had them notarized (thank you Carol Glasgow). We have to get Doctors notes and Counselor notes (which are ready to go) and we will send it all in tomorrow. Then we will receive our Dossier from the agency (which means "A TON of paper work") and also turn in our homestudy paper work. So hopefully soon, we will start our homestudy interviews. From what I read, this is about a 10 to 14 month process.
We are praying how we will finance this but we are trusting at the same time.... TODAY our doorbell rang and someone (annomous) left a $3000 check for our adoption.
WOW... how humbling! We are blown away and are trusting that the Lord will provide the rest as well. It was so encouraging! THANK YOU JESUS! (I am adding to this a few days later. The Lord provided another $1000 - WOW... we are so humbled! This is an expensive journey but how can you really put a price tag on it! Well, I guess the agencies have but we are trusting the LORD!)
